Snowshoeing

In the last years, snowshoe expeditions between the three Atikamekw communities (Obedjiwan, Wemotaci) are organized mainly for young people. But as a visitor, it is possible in the winter and spring, to experience snowshoeing during a stay in Manawan. A 300 km circuit project with rustic cottages and certified Atikamekw guides is currently in development. It will be the "Atikamekw de Compostela," both physical and spiritual.
